Part 3: The Thumbelina Square

whoop whoop!
The third week is here and this timeย we will make not one but two adorable Thumbelina Squares. She is an absolute cutie and once you get the hang of its petals and leaves turning; Thumbelina will be a quick breeze to work up. It’s gonna be so muchย fun!
A little note before we begin:
It’s now time to make lots of gorgeous Thumbelina squares and so we have divided them over two weeks. For this week we will still be using the same pattern for both the blanket and pillow, but we will be using different colors for rnd 13.
We will also be making a different amount of squares depending on which one you are working on:
*For the blanket you will make a total of four squares: two each week.
*For the pillow you will do a total of five squares over these two weeks: two of the squares Week 3 and then three more for Week 6.
Below you will find the downloadable pattern files: one in color and one as a printer friendly version.ย As we only know how to speak English (and Swedish) here at SistersInStitch: the pattern areย written in US-terms and the comprehensive stitch by stitch tutorials will be shown in that too.ย
In the Island Stroll CAL: Stitch Guide you will find techniques,ย abbreviation and terminology lists to help you out a long the way, and they are including UK and Swedish shortenings!ย
