The Story Behind...

The Stay Awhile Boho Blanket and pillow set is a beautiful duo that is oh so calming to make.

It all began with some scrap skeins I got from Drops Designs a while back.. One December evening, as the rain was falling heavily on my windows, I began to make these teardrop inspired squares.. They are so quick to make and very calming, and so before I knew it; I had quite the collection infront of me and I just knew that this had to be a chunky cozy amazing blanket.

I sketched it up quickly and reached out to Happily Hooked Magazine who absolutely loved the idea, and then to Drops Design who was so kind to sponsor with the yarn for this huge hygge project.

We ended up with this amazing 180 cm x 150 cm blanket that totally got snatched by my family in two seconds.. And since I had a few skeins left, the matching Stay A While Boho Pillow came to be added. They make such a great pairing.

And we are so happy and proud to say that the Stay Awhile Boho Blanket is the cover project for issue 87 “Neutrals” of Happily Hooked Magazine.
